This wireless IP camera works with your wireless router to broadcast and record video over your local area network or the internet. Video can be recorded when motion is detected or according to a defined schedule. When motion is detected, the camera will record video to the hard drive and upload images to an email address or FTP site. It can be mounted on the wall outside and can be controlled remotely. With built-in video encoder module and web server, users can view live images and full motion video through a standard Web browser. This device combines a network camera and a computer into one small, intelligent unit. Installation is easy by using the configuration software to assign an IP address to your camera or obtain an address automatically through a DHCP server (typically a router). It is a fully- featured internet-enabled surveillance system that provides password protected multi-level user management.

NOTICE:
1. When Search Ip camera in LAN- a. Make sure the equipment is properly connected with thenetwork and power.
- b.The router must support DHCP (Dynamic Host ConfigurationProtocol), because dynamic IP addresses obtaining is one ofthe factory settings of camera. If the device cannot get thecorrect ip address, it will use the default ip address.
- c.The camera cannot be immediately used when power connectionis OK, system initialization will cost more than 20 seconds.
2. When the IP Camera Tool could not find camera′s IP address, please check if the camera works well. Check if network cable is loose or not. Make sure DHCP is enabled in your router, don′t enable MAC address filter.
Make sure that firewall or anti-virus software does not block the camera. You can add the camera as a trusted site in your firewall or anti-virus software.3. ipcamtools.exe is only used to search for the LAN IPaddresses and port numbers of the cameras. However, the tool is notable to search IP address of the camera as well as the port numberin WAN.
4. The factory default settings using DHCP to obtain IP address. After restoring the factory settings, device IP address may bedifferent from the one before restoration. Please use the search toolto search for equipment. And obtain the corresponding IP.
5. more than one user can see the IP camera feed simultaneously, but due to the current IP camera chip computing power, it determines that the general IP camera supports up to 10 users. And the internet speed also limits the number of remote users. Particular depends on what the viewer stream, what kind of resolution and the traffic of the network broadband. If the speed is allowed (such as local area network) more than 10 simultaneous users want to view the camera, we can set up a proxy to achieve the purpose of watching at the same time.
6. DDNS: Dynamic DNS, also called as dynamic domain name, isused to handle the problem that user′s device doesn′t havefixed IP while accessing Internet. With assist of DDNS, usercan connect to his/her IP camera directly via DDNS. If user wants to access his/her IP camera via WAN, twoconditions, mentioned as follows, must be met.
- a. User knows the WAN IP address or domain name of the IPcamera.
- b.If IP camera connects to a router, the corresponding mirrorport of router must be set for IP camera, so that usercan access the IP Cam located in LAN through WAN.
